Girl Of Time

Mooncake festival falls on sept 19 this year, but I kinda celebrated it yesterday kk
so basically my bm teacher organized something like a mooncake festival celebration at her house
and woah, the crowd of people is no joke at all. Probably about 160+ people came as what as teacher said
and there's roast pig and lamb!!!! MY FAVORITE but didn't managed to eat like a lot of it cause it went out in just a blink of eye TuT
Since everyone was ordered to bring their own food in groups, the place was once again flooded with variety of food
but since there's SO MANY people, I didn't even managed to get most bit of dishes TuT the situation was chaotic I swear!! I gave up half way and just went back lol
Although it was kinda.. messy throughout the food-taking part, I still enjoy the food anyway
and then the lanterns part!!! Maybe it's been a while since I last light up a lantern, I can't even managed to light a freaking candle and make it stays on the lantern TuT
cheong, the guy who helped me lighted up the candle somehow found his new talent yesterday night, which was lighting up candle real fast xD
Everyone was like "eh candle cannot light up ah? CHEONG!" HAHAHHAHAHA
So he was like heading back and forth to help people light their candles up xDDD
After that we had a biggggggg group photo wuahhhh
then the so called carry-lantern-all-the-way activity started
We walk through all the way from teacher's house to the other taman's end then headed back again
It took us more than 1 hour!!! or I'm just slow i dont know
It was the best part through the walk. We were talking, singing, screaming, laughing, snapping pictures and stuffs
We were all kinda crazy that night hahaha we even acted like kids, blowing off each other candles
but then when it went on a bit too long, it got a bit annoying cause you need to light up the candles again!!!
just when we reached our 'final destination', the wind stared to blow really strong
its so strong that my hair was all messy and the lantern almost flew off =_=
and as expected, it started raining. and yeah, we were still not at teacher's house yet by that time
but we were not running or anything, still walking slowly and chit-chatting hahaha
The rain then got real big so a few of us went into ahmin's car to get ourselves some shelter yaknow
we stayed in for almost an hour I think for the rain to stop
we were supposed to burn some lanterns after the walk!!! but then the rain just ruined everything TUT
Most of the people were already back when I finally got off the car so yeah thats it
Probably the happiest mooncake festival celebration I ever had ^____^
